All about Gurgaon

 Gurgaon is a city in the National Capital Region of India. It lies in northern India with Haryana and Delhi on the west, Faridabad and Ghaziabad on the southwest, Palwal on the south and Sonepat on the east. Gurgaon is one of the fastest growing cities in India with a population of over 3 million people. It also has one of the best public transportation systems in Haryana. Gurgaon stands for Greater Gurgaon which was a proposed city when Delhi was split into two new states – Haryana and Uttar Pradesh. The name was later changed to Gurgaon after its suburb to avoid confusion with New Delhi (which has been named after Maharaja Pratap Singh). Gurgaon is a city in the National Capital Region of India, and an upcoming satellite city of Delhi. It lies in the foothills of the Aravalli range and is known as the "City of Lakes".
